Sheraton Vancouver Hotel Review

Sheraton Vancouver Hotel Review

4.5/5 stars

Unlike some of the other hotels I’ve stayed at downtown, I didn’t get a chance to fully explore the Sheraton. My stay consisted of two nights both of which were enjoyable. Upon arriving it was a quick check in and the room was easy to find. Unfortunately the first room we entered did not meet our expectations therefore we upgraded to a different one. That room was very cramped, however the new one was great. This room consisted of two double beds, a mini coffee bar, a living space and a spacious bathroom.

All rooms were clean, had good lighting both naturally and with all the lamps and the four of us were able to easily move around without bumping into each other. Across the length of the room were floor to ceiling windows that could be opened if needed. Each room had numerous outlets and counter space. There was a notebook on the desk, yet it would have been great if a pen was provided so I could write down review thoughts and memories from the trip. At the coffee bar, it would have been nice if more cups were provided. As well, in the bathroom there were few towels and not a large amount of soap. However, it’s noted these things can be restocked by hotel services. Under the desk it’s respected that there were two methods of recycling, one for paper and one for organics. I was unable to check out the other amenities such as the pool and gym. Overall, our room suited our needs and from what I saw the staff is great. The Sheraton would be on my list of recommendations for anyone planning on staying downtown.
